LIFE

This is life, 

The sun shines hot and gets unbearable, thorns and thistles sprout. 

Floods and earthquakes destroy and plunge us into foreseen hardship as well as pain of loss. 

 But the sun does add in the growth of arable crops as the rains fall even in the midst of thorns and most of the unseen processes underneath the earth crust result in the forming of new landforms but yet leaves deadly marks on the surface. 

This is life,

Many live under a dollar a day and a lot of us have more than a dollar to spare but for lack empathy if I may. Who amongst us living today was fortunate to pick the family we belong to or even our nationality? 

I feel our existence should be given a second thought.

This is life,

We view the successful in envy and sometimes bitterness yet having no idea of the sacrifice and burden they endured ; we have hard the saying "Rome wasn't built in a day" but can deduce from it that time and dedication could as well be the reason why it was worthy of the statement. 

This is life,

We wake up in the morning with yesterday's misfortune in mind as the back up mind-frame for whatever is to be the reason for today's failure even in a world where mortality rate is on the rise. 

We are loaded with potentials that could better the life of just one person but can't even better our own perspective.

A topical question would be if life is fair or unfair. And I put forward my defence as this; we have 24hrs a day, 7days a week, 365days a year. Responsibility and opportunity is how I summaries this.

But once more, this is life and your most gifted if you still have it.
